One of our favorite new blends, you may recognize it from Austin Brother's Boom Town Coffee Blonde Ale! This blend is a Boom Town original and our owner's first blend recipe! Containing our base Colombia (with organic beans) and the highly sought-after beans brought directly from Hawaii, this Kona blend is sure to satifsy.
Kona is grown in a very small location in Hawaii, and beans are hand-picked. This causes the price of Kona to be dramatically higher than most other green coffee beans - costing up to 10 times as much as other varieties! And did you know most coffees only need to be comprised of 10% Kona to be labeled as "Kona coffee"? Here at Boom Town, we want you to experience the full, buttery body of Kona without the crazy price tag. The Kona is carefully roasted in 1/2-1 lb increments on our sample roaster to ensure consistency, and it is then blended with our Colombian coffee to offer a smooth, full-bodied cup to fortify you through all spring break activities!
