So frequently 'community' is heard in conjunction with coffee, but how often do we really sit down and consider what means? 'Community' itself is a word with so many different definitions, but the one that stands out most in my mind, in relation to the world of coffee, is "a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals."
When I think of the coffee community, I think of people connecting across the globe whose main interest is centered on this plant we grow, harvest, roast, brew, and drink. But our attitude always seems to be one of awe - in how interconnected the process is from farmer to consumer, and in how versatile coffee really is as a beverage. And our goal? To share an experience over the joy of coffee.
These headbands respresent our ideals and how we find community in coffee. Bonus - they are made in Michigan by another woman-owned business! We love Sassy Olive headbands because there are incredible soft and stretchy, making them comfortable to wear all day long. The wide band also provides a lot of staying power, so they don't slip off!
